On Tuesday evening, Infowars host Alex Jones criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his comments regarding Jones' endorsement of Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre.

"Speaking of misinformation and disinformation, any responsible leader that receives an endorsement and support from proven conspiracy theorist and liar, Alex Jones, would have immediately denounced that. But that's not what the leader of the opposition did. He did absolutely nothing because those kinds of endorsements fit within his political strategy," Trudeau said during a question period in the House of Commons.

Jones wrote in response, "I love it! The man child who says he admires 'China’s basic dictatorship' is attacking me!"

Jones added in a separate response to Trudeau’s comments, "Is this the same Trudeau that gave a standing ovation to an actual Nazi war criminal from WW2?"

Jones’ initial endorsement of Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre came on April 4, writing, "Been following this guy for years and he is the real deal! Canada desperately needs a lot more leaders like him and so does the rest of the world."

He noted that the prime minister is "not a liberal," explaining that "Liberals used to believe in liberty. And conservatives believed in conserving it. That was the common sense consensus we had in Canada."

In the clip, Poilievre said, "Justin Trudeau does not believe in liberty. He believes in government control. He wants to control your money. He wants to control your kids. He wants to control the economy, control your speech, control your bank account. He wants to control everything that is illiberal. It's the opposite of liberalism."

“I don't want to run your life. I want to run your government -- and a government that does a few things well, rather than a lot of things poorly; a government that minds its own business and lets people live their lives. That is the traditional common sense consensus that liberals and conservatives believed in for a century and a half until Trudeau.”
