On Wednesday, far-left and conservative protesters at the University of Alabama united in their mutual disdain for President Biden, in which they engaged in unified chants of "F*ck Joe Biden!"

The moment occurred at the university's Student Center Plaza around 5:30 pm local time during a pro-Palestinian protest which was countered by pro-Israel demonstrators, according to video footage shared by an editor at the school's newspaper.

"F*ck Joe Biden," the group supporting Gaza chanted as Palestinian flags waved in the air.

In response, the pro-Israel crowd yelled back to them, "F*ck Joe Biden."

The footage has since gone viral across social media.

The pro-Palestinian demonstration was organized by students involved with the UA Leftist Collective, according to WVTM 13.

The University's alleged ties to Lockheed Martin, a defense contractor, and the Department of Defense were the focus of the protest.

In a press release, the organizers said, "As students of the University of Alabama, we can no longer stand by in silent complicity as our institution funds a state-sponsored massacre of Palestinians."

"A 2022 audit revealed that the Board of the University of Alabama received $10.4 million that year in funding from the Department of Defense," the release continued, according to the outlet. "UA also has a very close relationship with Lockheed Martin, a defense contractor that has supplied Israel with fighter jets, Hellfire missiles, and other weapons that are currently being used to slaughter Palestinians. In 2018, UA received $15 million in stock from Marillyn Hewson, the then-CEO of Lockheed. UA is listed as a partner university of the company, and it allows Lockheed to hold recruiting events on campus.”

This comes as similar protests have emerged on college campuses in the form of encampments, which former President Donald Trump demanded be eradicated on Wednesday following extreme violence and reports of antisemitism that have occurred at the Gaza camps across the US.
