Black news outlet claims Ben Carson ‘cries white tears’

The article, written Friday, goes on to claim that Carson would never have gotten anywhere in the political world if it weren't for the "identity politics" he criticizes.

The article calls Carson one of the white men "still pretending meritocracy, not their own original version of identity politics, is why they continue to dominate all the aforementioned professions, positions and class statuses."

This particular criticism comes from a previous statement made by Carson during a recent interview on WMAL's The Vince Coglianese Show.

The former presidential candidate and renowned neurosurgeon's commented: "You know, this is America. Many people fought and gave their lives to bring equality. And now we're reverting back to identity politics. And as we continue to do that, we're bringing more division into our country."

"Carson played his usual role of 'Black man crying white tears.' This time he was blubbering his unseasoned cries because President Joe Biden has pledged to nominate a Black woman for the next Supreme Court Justice now that Justice Stephen Breyer is set to retire," the article prefaces Carson's remarks.

"Carson, trust me when I tell you the only purpose you served was as a barely-sentient tool for Trump’s failed attempt at winning over Black America," concludes the article. "Your entire existence in the political world is due to identity politics."

"Now, sit with that and hush," the author of the article declares.

Carson is frequently under criticism from mainstream media outlets as well. In one instance, an analyst from NBC News called Carson a "thing."

According to their website, NewsOne is "dedicated to deepening out audiences' understanding about current events and their impact on black lives."
