BREAKING: Kamala announces US-Mexico border visit after Trump border announcement last week

Harris will be in El Paso, Texas, on Friday, June 25. She will be attended by Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, according to Politico.

While countless media outlets and 56 GOP lawmakers have chastised Harris for not going to the border, despite being tasked with dealing with the border and immigration crisis by her boss President Joe Biden, it appears to have taken Trump's announcement to light a fire until the VP.

Former President Trump slammed Harris for the late announcement in a blistering statement: "After months of ignoring the crisis at the Southern Border, it is great that we got Kamala Harris to finally go and see the tremendous destruction and death that they've created…If Governor Abbott and I weren’t going there next week, she would have never gone!"

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
