BREAKING: Trump triumphant as confused, incoherent Biden repeats debunked hoaxes during CNN debate
At times, Biden didn’t appear to know what question he was answering.
At times, Biden didn’t appear to know what question he was answering.

President Joe Biden took the debate stage opposite his challenger and chief political enemy President Donald Trump, and he looked every bit his age as he gazed into the camera with what can only be called resting old face. Trump answered questions with his typical energy and vigor while Biden's voice faltered and he looked at times like he was trying to figure out what was going on. He repeated hoaxes that have been debunked, prompting Trump to say "I've never seen anybody lie like this guy."

View on XThe difference between the two candidates was stark as Trump delivered concise, clearly thought out answers while Biden stumbled over his answers and appeared repeatedly to lose his train of thought. As Trump remained calm and spoke on policy and his record, Biden resorted to insults, going as far as to repeat debunked hoaxes and calling Trump a "loser."
He made the comment as part of his repeating of the hoax that Trump called soldiers "suckers and losers," which was debunked. Biden grew angry when he spoke about veterans, brought up his son Beau and his service in Iraq. Then he brought up the old story from 2020, saying that Trump went with his general to France and said that he would not go into a veterans cemetery because it was full of "losers and suckers."

View on XThe trip on which Biden claimed Trump made the comments, which was in 2018, was actually cancelled. The initial account ran in The Atlantic based on anonymous sources, but Trump admin officials later clarified, and many officials went on the record to dispute the story.
Biden also brought up the Charlottesville hoax, where Biden has claimed that Trump said there were "good people on both sides" of a 2017 conflict between far-leftists and white nationalists. This, too, has been widely debunked.

View on XBiden also claimed that Trump claimed there would be a "bloodbath" if he were not elected in the fall. During a rally earlier this year, Trump said there would be a "bloodbath" in the auto industry if Biden had his way and allowed American car companies to fail due to the insane push for electric vehicles, which benefits China.

View on XAt times, Biden didn't appear to know what question he was answering. When asked about Israel, he said "we are the biggest producer of support for Israel of anyone in the world." Earlier, when he was asked about Roe v. Wade, Biden oddly pivoted to talking about American girls being raped by their in-laws.
"The idea that states are able to do this," Biden said, speaking about states being the ones to decide how abortion is handled, "is little like saying we're going to turn civil rights back to the states, that each state have a different role. Look, there's so many young women who have been, including a young woman who just was murdered, and he went to the funeral, the idea that she was murdered by by by an immigrant coming in to talk about that. Here's the deal," Biden went on. "There's a lot of more young women to be raped by their own in-laws, by their, by their spouses, brothers and sisters, by or just, it's just ridiculous, and they can do nothing about it, and then try to rest them on the cross state lines."
It was confusing and unclear. It was hard to know what he was talking about. Trump maintained his poise and appeared unflappable as Biden flubbed, stumbled, and seemed entirely out of sorts. Even as the debate came to a close, Democrats were on air discussing the possibility of replacing Biden on a Democratic ticket.
