Bud Light is offering a $15 rebate, making some beer free.

There are now some Budweiser products that are being sold free of charge due to a promotional rebate offered by Anheuser-Busch. The recent development comes after the company has taken a significant financial hit after deciding to use trans-identified Dylan Mulvaney in a promotional video.
Fox News reported that amid the Memorial Day weekend, Bud Light revealed a new promotion affectionately called the US Budweiser Family Memorial Day Rebate, which will be made available to customers in eligible states. The rebate ensures an amount “equivalent to the purchase price of one 15-pack or larger, up to $15” of Bud Light, Budweiser, Budweiser Select or Budweiser Select 55, which will be paid out through Anheuser-Busch Digital Prepaid Mastercard.

On Wednesday, Shaw’s Supermarket in Nashua, New Hampshire was selling 30-packs of Bud Light for $19.99, which is $5 down from its retail price of $24.99. However, after the $15 rebate offered by the company, it means that a 30-pack of Bud Light would cost just $5.
In Wisconsin, it appears that the price of beer after the rebate would be free, with the price of 15-pack beers being just $14.99, which is enough for the rebate of $15 to cover.

This recent approach by Bud Light appears to confirm that promoting Dylan Mulvaney was ultimately a bad business move, with many people deciding to boycott the company. However, this is just one of the many instances of companies and organizations attempting to pander to the queer community.
