"Since the site’s launch on May 8, 2026, WAR.GOV/UFO has received over 1 billion hits worldwide, highlighting the unprecedented levels of interest in both this topic and the Trump administration’s historic transparency effort. The Department of War and our agency partners are actively working on the third release of UAP files, which will be announced in the near future."

The latest batch includes audio from an Apollo mission, reports of glowing orbs surrounding a military helicopter, and a UAP incidents across the Middle East.

In one video, titled "USAF ANG F-16C (callsign [CALLSIGN]) Shoots Down UAP over Lake Huron with [Weapon System], 12 Feb 2023," the Department of War said that the video "is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the United States Northern Command area of responsibility in 2023. A user uploaded this video to a classified network in February 2023."

A description of the video states, "At the 11 second mark, the sensor focuses on an area of contrast in the center of its field-of-view. At the 20 second mark, the footage appears to depict a kinetic interaction between two distinct areas of contrast, with the initial subject of the footage fragmenting in a radial displacement pattern that suggests a high-energy event." This came around the same time that a Chinese spy balloon had been spotted and shot down in US airspace.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna wrote that videos requested by her and other lawmakers included the message: "On March 6, 2026, eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified a collection of responsive materials held on a classified network. Many of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody."

In one document released as part of the batch, a current senior US intelligence official recounted a 2025 incident in the western United States in which there was a "series of close UAP encounters lasting over an hour." The official described an object that "split into two and changed direction," and said that a group team radiod the helicopter the official was in, saying that "the object had risen from the ground, approached within ten feet of the helicopter, dropped below us, and then sped away."

Moments later, the official and the pilots "observed two large orbs flare up side by side, close to the helicopter - stationary and just above the rotor disk to our right. They were oval-shaped, orange with a white or yellow center, and emitted light in all directions."
