Jordan Peterson BLASTS woke Ontario College of Psychologists after re-education camp decision upheld: ‘The war has barely started’

Peterson took his case to court and on Tuesday, "a panel of three judges with the Ontario Court of Appeal dismissed Peterson’s motion for leave to appeal an earlier decision by the Ontario Divisional Court," the National Post reported. To keep his professional license, he will be forced to undergo re-education. The appeals court gave no reason, which the outlet said is "normal for the appeal court."

In response to the decision, Peterson said on X, "A higher court in Canada has ruled that the Ontario College of Psychologists indeed has the right to sentence me to re-education camp. There are no other legal avenues open to me now. Congratulations, @CPOntario! You won this round. Mark my words, however: the war has barely started. There is nothing you can take from me that I'm unwilling to lose. So watch out. Seriously. You've been warned."

When the Ontario College of Psychologists issued the ruling against him, they took the word of people who claimed to have been "harmed" by Peterson's social media posts. These were people who had never met Peterson, were not clients of his, and had not been students during his time as a tenured professor at the University of Toronto. The College claimed that those who complained were harmed simply by seeing his posts online.

"I tweeted and otherwise expressed my opposition to trans surgery butchery, @JustinTrudeau and his minions, and the lying climate apocalypse-mongers. All that's looking pretty good from my end. And if I can't express such opinions in Canada, I will let the world know," Peterson said at the time.

"I have been accused of harming people," Peterson said in January in response to the first demand, "although none of the complaints involved in the current action were clients of mine, past or present, or were even acquainted with any of my clients."

Peterson received a great deal of support, including from Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre, who spoke in favor of Peterson and against the decision to force him into re-education. Some of the complaints against Peterson were that he openly criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and retweeted Poilievre.

"So the Ontario College of Psychologists has told Jordan Peterson that he either undergo retraining for social media etiquette or lose his license to practice as a clinical psychologist," Poilievre said.

"This follows a number of complaints by people that don't like his online posts. One of which is a retweet. Something I posted and other is a criticism of Justin Trudeau. Now it should go without saying that in a free country, professionals should not lose their jobs and licenses because they express a political opinion contrary to the licensing body that's mandated by the government."

Hundreds rallied in Peterson's defense. Peterson, who has been vocal about free speech and is highly critical of gender ideology, said that were he forced to undergo this re-education, which he would also be obligated to pay for, he would record the whole thing and post it to YouTube.

"I will video-record all further hearings and "Mandatory re-education training courses" And broadcast them unedited on @YouTube for the world to see. I swear it by all that is holy," he said.
