Trump received highest percentage of Jewish vote of any GOP presidential candidate since 1988: WPA Intelligence

According to WPA Intelligence citing AP/Fox News/NORC exit poll, Trump garnered 32 percent of the Jewish vote nationally, an increase from the 30 percent he received in 2020 and the 24 percent he received in 2016. This is also the highest percent of the Jewish vote that has gone to Republicans since 1988 for George H.W. Bush, who received 35 percent of the Jewish vote.

Trump’s win may have had to do with the support Trump had from the Jewish vote in swing states as well. In Pennsylvania, Trump won a staggering 41 percent of the Jewish vote, according to the Honan Group exit poll cited by WPA Intelligence.

The survey showed that Trump won 38 percent of the Jewish vote in Arizona and 42 percent of the Jewish vote in Nevada, up from 30 percent and 22 percent, respectively, in 2020.

The election results in the battleground states are corroborated by the results in other states with large Jewish populations. In Florida, Trump took 44 percent of the Jewish vote, and in deep-blue New York, he took 46 percent of the Jewish vote. This is similar to the Jewish exit poll conducted by Democratic pollster Bradley Honan for the Orthodox Union, which showed Harris winning New York Jews in Nassau County and upstate swing districts by only 49 percent to Trump’s 41 percent.

"New York City, home to over 1.3 million Jews, saw some of the most dramatic swings in Jewish neighborhoods. After a modest gain in 2020 over 2016, Jewish density in a neighborhood became massively correlated with support for Trump,” WPA Intelligence stated. The results were consistent with the evidence in the Honan and Fox polls, as well as polls by New York Times/Sienna College showing the state’s Jews to be competitive. In the Big Apple, Trump won every precinct that had a 50 percent or greater Jewish concentration of voters.

While Trump gained support in Los Angeles Jewish neighborhoods, in New York’s Ramapo Precinct 55, which has one of the highest Jewish voter concentrations in the US, Trump won 966 of 968 votes cast.

In Michigan, the top Jewish concentrated precincts in the state moved by approximately 15 to 20 points in his direction from 2016. The Orthodox Jewish population in the neighborhood of Lakewood, New Jersey, gave Trump over 95 percent of its votes.

Sam Markstein, National Political Director and Communications Director for the Republican Jewish Coalition, told The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, “ I know the other side likes to say, ‘2024 was a big success for us.’ That is just pure gaslighting. From every metric possible, they lost the White House, they lost the Senate, they did not take back the House, and particularly with the Jewish vote, they are hemorrhaging Jewish supporters across the country, not just in New York, California, Florida, but also in these key battleground states, in these key precincts that are going to continue to determine who wins the White House for elections to come.”

He added, ”Increases in support for President Trump were broad, diverse, both geographically. The strongest support for the President and Republicans came from the Orthodox community, but that is continuing to be a trend as well in the modern Orthodox vote and liberal areas as well, including places like Oak Park and Upper Manhattan, so this is a diverse ethnically and geographically coalition that stretches across all denominations in the Jewish faith. So, this is a trend that we're very excited about.”
