Taiwan has said they the country will not be retaliating to the tariffs placed against them by the United States and has indicated that they want to meet with the Trump administration to bring down the tariffs placed against them. Trump has previously said that he is willing to negotiate trade agreements and lower the reciprocal tariffs if other various countries lower their own trade barriers and tariffs against the US.
