Washington State public school students mark ‘victory’ of Oct 7 massacre by calling for ‘student intifada’
Students were urged to “continue the flood,” referring to the Hamas operation to infiltrate Israel called “Al-Aqsa Flood,” from the “belly of the beast.”
Students across western Washington State are planning a “Walkout for Palestine” on Oct. 7, the one year anniversary of Palestinian terrorists massacring over 1,200 people in Israel and taking over 250 hostage. The school districts have not taken any action or even condemned the antisemitic walkouts. New York City high school students have made plans to engage in the same kind of activity.
Students at over a dozen high schools and colleges have planned the walk out of classes in solidarity with the terrorists that carried out the worst pogrom since the Holocaust and even call the rape, torture and murder of civilians a "victory." Schools where students will be walking out include: West Seattle High School, Issaquah High School, Nova High School, Redmond High School, Juanita High School, Seattle Central Community College, Interlake High School, South Seattle College, Montlake Terrace High School, Garfield High School, Center School, Renton High School, Western Washington University, Hazen High School. Eastlake High School and Whitman College.
Multiple accounts on Instagram, including some with ties to radical socialist and Marxist groups, are promoting the walkouts, with some even using pictures of the terrorists committing the atrocities to advertise the event. Some of the accounts have used marketing material provided by Hamas’ media office. These same accounts are calling for a "student intifada," which means an armed uprising. During the 2000 Intifada, Palestinian terrorists killed over 1,000 Jewish, Muslim and Christian Israelis. Students were also encouraged to "continue the flood," referring to the Hamas operation to infiltrate Israel, called "Al-Aqsa Flood," from the "belly of the beast."
Students have also been encouraged to participate in “Kuffiyeh Week” and wear the Palestinian scarf as a headdress, a look popularized by mass murderer and former head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Yasser Arafat, to school. This they call a “symbol of resistance” and a “gesture of support to the Palestinian movement.”
The students are also being urged to protest Israel’s war against Hamas as well and the Jewish state’s war against Hezbollah in retaliation for the Iran-backed terrorist group firing tens of thousands of rockets on Israel since Oct 8, 2023 which has left over 80,000 civilians living in hotels, unable to return to their homes.
Samidoun advocates for the release of convicted terrorists from Israeli prisons and is tied to the terrorist organization the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). The violent activist group helped organize one of the first local rallies for Hamas at the University of Washington, days after the Oct 7 attacks.
Over the weekend, pro-Hamas activists in Seattle waved flags of terrorist organizations and praised the Oct 7 attackers while calling for an armed uprising against the Jewish state. Students were seen wearing Hamas shirts and headbands. Many of the same social media accounts that are promoting the walkout promoted the terrorist rally on Saturday.
Local activists are also spamming elected officials with letters demanding that any post on social media to commemorate the Oct 7 anniversary include parts of Hamas’ narrative.
