Mainstreet Research has just released new data showing Doug Ford's PC party holding a very strong lead province-wide, with numbers even better than the last poll.

It is felt that the party is dominating provincial politics more than ever due to a deep divide between opposition parties.

According to Maclean's, the PCs are polling at 43 percent, leaving their closest rivals the Liberal party, in the dust at 25 percent. The Liberals are followed closely by the NDP at 22 percent, then the Greens at 7 percent.

The PC's stranglehold in the province is especially strong in the all-important 905 area code, which has the largest number of seats. In this area, it leads by a whopping 26 points.

Even in the youngest demographics, Ford's party still enjoys a healthy double-digit lead over its competitors.

If an election were to go according to the latest poll's results, the PCs would win an overwhelming majority of 84 of the province's 124 legislative seats, giving them a very comfortable majority.
