The Department of Justice on Saturday released a list of 300 “politically exposed” individuals named in the Jeffrey Epstein files, stating it has now complied with congressional requirements under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche informed leaders of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees that all responsive materials in the department’s possession have been made public, subject to legal privileges and victim protections.

“The Department released all ‘records, documents, communications and investigative materials in the possession of the Department’ that ‘relate to’ any of nine different categories,” Bondi and Blanche wrote.

The list includes President Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Gates, Bill Cosby, Robert De Niro, Hillary Clinton, Jay-Z, and Kim Kardashian, among others. Also named are Prince Harry, Woody Allen, Kamala Harris, Mark Zuckerberg, Bruce Springsteen, Elon Musk, Pope John Paul II, Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Bono, and Beyoncé.

DOJ officials stressed that inclusion in the files does not imply wrongdoing or direct contact with Epstein. Some individuals had “extensive direct email contact” with Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell, while others were referenced in documents unrelated to the underlying criminal matters.

The agency reviewed roughly 6 million pages and released more than 3.5 million pages after the Dec. 19 deadline. A “small number of documents” remain under court review and will be released if approved, Blanche previously said.

Records withheld involve deliberative-process, work-product, and attorney-client privileges. Victim names and personal identifying information were redacted. “No records were withheld or redacted ‘on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity,’” Bondi and Blanche wrote.

The letter was sent to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, ranking member Dick Durbin, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, and ranking member Jamie Raskin. Blanche signed the letter; Bondi’s name appeared at the top but did not include her signature.
