The Philadelphia motorcyclist who was seen in a viral video shattering the back windshield of a car with two small children inside and pointing a firearm at the mother has been arrested by authorities.

Cody Heron, 26, of Philadelphia was arrested on Wednesday after his employer tipped off police, according to the New York Post.

Heron has been charged with possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and multiple counts of aggravated assault.

Larry Krasner, the district attorney for Philadelphia, allegedly asked that Heron be held on $5 million bond; however, after Heron's arraignment on Wednesday night, a judge set it at 10 percent of $2.5 million.

The viral incident occurred on Sunday when Heron ran into 23-year-old Nikki Bullock's driver's side door during an illegal street biking event during which prosecutors say the streets were overtaken by motorcyclists, bikers, and ATV riders.

Video shows Heron on top of the glass-shattered vehicle before pointing a gun at a mother who exited the car to confront him. The glass reportedly hit Bullock's two children, ages two and five, sitting in the backseat of the vehicle.

Prosecutors said the firearm fell from Heron's waistband as he kicked in the glass, in which he picked it up and pointed it at the young mother.

Assistant District Attorney William Fritze said of the incident in a statement: "Cody Heron, who was recklessly riding his motorcycle through the heavily populated streets of Center City Philadelphia while carrying a firearm, senselessly assaulted an innocent woman and her children who were simply going about their evening."

During a press conference, police said the video helped lead to the arrest of Heron. Authorities received multiple tips identifying Heron and among the tipsters was Heron's employer, according to Interim First Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore.

Following the incident, Bullock spoke out and said, "Next thing I know, he's standing on the car and just jumping on it. Glass broke all over the place."

"I'm just grateful that my kids are okay," she said, adding "I like the culture but sometimes it goes a little too far."

After Bullock had exited her vehicle to confront the Biker, Heron headbutted her which resulted in Bullock shoving over his motorcycle, video shows.

Police were lambasted for not intervening after video showed that a police cruiser was in frame of the incident. Authorities say these illegal street biking events have increased and they have been trying to shut them down, according to the outlet.
