On Sunday, former President Donald J. Trump encouraged singer Taylor Swift not to endorse President Biden during the 2024 presidential election, citing his successes for musicians during his time in the White House.

"There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money," wrote Trump on Truth Social.

Trump's post comes after conservative pundits said that the Democrat Party is poised to use Swift to rally her fans to their cause. Swift, one one of the world's most famous musicians, endorsed Biden in 2020 over Trump.

Donald Trump, who is the GOP frontrunner for president, reminded Swift about his administration's Music Modernization Act, which benefitted artists by closing loopholes in digital royalty laws to ensure they receive fair payment for the licensing of music. Trump also explained that Biden has reportedly done nothing for the music industry, and then spoke highly about Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a Tight End for the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor, and never will. There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money. Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can't stand me!" wrote Trump.

The left has apparently been "thirsting for Swift," who has legions of devoted young female fans, is pro-abortion, for LGBTQ ideology, and "whose known views generally aligns with Democrats."

While Democratic pundits claim that the notion of using Swift to secure a victory for Biden in 2024 is a "conservative conspiracy theory," it was recently revealed that the Biden team is seeking Swift's endorsement, and now Dem staffers are actively going after her and her fans to boost the progressive incumbent, according to a report from the Washington Post.

"Team Biden is playing any Swift strategy close to the vest: A campaign and White House spokesperson both declined to comment on Swift-specific outreach," WaPo reports. Co-chair of the Biden reelection campaign Mitch Landrieu said of Swift "Biden would love to have her endorsement."

Taylor Swift, who has one of the world's most dedicated fanbases, has quite an influence on young voters. Recent polling suggests that 18 percent of voters are "more likely" or "significantly likely" to support a candidate endorsed by Taylor Swift, according to the New York Times.

Trump's Sunday post was published hours before Super Bowl 58, where all cameras will be on Taylor Swift as she will be in attendance to watch her NFL star boyfriend compete against the San Francisco 49ers.
