Brad Dahr, a resident of Alberta aged 53 years, has been arrested and charged by the RCMP with a string of sexual assault and child pornography charges, and authorities suspect that there may be multiple other victims country-wide.
A search warrant was executed at an Edmonton residence, where various pieces of evidence, physical and digital, were collected.
According to Global News, the incidents connected to the charges laid took places in Vegreville AB between 2018 and Oct. 2020. Said incidents have led to charges of luring a child, sexual exploitation, possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Dahr is scheduled to appear in Vegreville court on May 3.
Dahr has been known to travel frequently between Edmonton and Vegreville, as well as Drumheller Beauvallon and Beiseker. He has also been known to go out of province regularly to BC's Lower Mainland and the Northwest Territories.
Because this is an ongoing investigation, the RCMP are asking anybody in the public to call them if they have any knowledge relating to potential other victims of Dahr.
