"Their argument is that the vice president ... inherited this. So there’s a lot of subtle sexism and nonsense within these kind of comments."

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair Michael Blake said that "sexism" was to blame for suggestions that Vice President Kamala Harris inherited the Biden campaign for president in 2024. Biden dropped out of the race on July 21 and Harris has filled the position as the Democrat nominee, seemingly with little opposition.

The comments came when Blake was speaking to a CNN panel on Monday, where Blake said that Republicans were using “subtle sexism and nonsense” to attack Harris as she runs for the presidency.

“I think the Republicans are scrambling because they know they have a disastrous ticket,” Blake said on CNN. “So, their argument is that the vice president, as Jesse just said, inherited this. So, there’s a lot of subtle sexism and nonsense within these kind of comments. She is the vice president. She was elected that if something happened to the president, she would step up. This is the reason why there’s such support around it.”

Blake suggested that Harris would continue the momentum she has seen for the campaign, saying that as Biden dropped out of the race, the Democrat nominee got a bump in the polls. "She’s up in the three battleground states. So, the reality is this, they can continue to have their nonsensical answers, and we will continue to see that people will stand in support of Kamala Harris,” Blake added.

Democratic pundits and members of the media have raised concerns about "sexism" as well a "racism" that Harris will face as she runs in for the presidency position. Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on July 10 that Harris will be running in a “a country that is sexist and racist" and as a result will be an "undervalued talent."

The left-wing media has also attempted to tie sexism to JD Vance for making a comment saying that many of the Democratic politicians in the country are "childless cat ladies" in an interview he did several years ago with Tucker Carlson

The -ism I'm concerned with is communism and Kamala and all her coconspirators have it in spades. Uh-oh, was that racist? Ask me if I care.
