Video taken at a school board meeting in Webster, New York on Tuesday captured a security guard aggressively dragging a man who wasn’t wearing a mask out of his seat, and forcing him from the room as onlookers shouted at the guard.
In the video, obtained by ROC for Educational Freedom, shows the security guard exchanging unheard words with the man, who is sitting facing the meeting.
The guard then pulls the chair backwards, with the man still sitting on it, pointing towards the speakers at the front of the room. The guard then attempts to lift the man with his jacket, but the man, who had his jacket unzipped, removes it and stands up.
"What are you doing?" Said the woman filming. "What the f*ck are you doing?"
"Is this how you treat our children?" Another woman asked. "Do you put your hands on the children like that?"
The guard gestures towards the exit as the maskless man attempts to sit down once again. The guard attempts to tip the man out of his chair, but the man lands of his feet, closer to the exit this time.
"That is assault," the woman filming said.
The guard, assisted by two others, then pushes the man out of the doors into the hallway.
A police officer walks out where the two men are, with one woman saying, "officer, do something about that."
As they stand out in the hallway, the school board members are heard stating that they will go on recess.
"You just allowed your security to do that? What are you doing?" the woman asked the school board.
The video ends with the police officer talking with the maskless man near the exit of the building, while the woman filming tells the guard through the glass "you’re on video, brother."
"And he’s laughing. He’s laughing. You’re laughing. Yeah, f*ck you dude," she said.
According to The Daily Wire, a woman who attended that school board meeting claimed that the man had to seek medical attention at an urgent care following the incident.
"She also explained that the maskless man was approached by the security guard while a student was in front speaking. The school board, she said, always brings up children who 'love the school' and 'love the superintendent' to speak when there is a hot issue parents want to voice concern over, adding that the kids who speak are clearly 'hand selected,'" The Daily Wire wrote.
