Footage of students licking feet and the armpits of others who appear to be their classmates at fundraising events hosted by Edmond North High School in Oklahoma between 2015 and 2020 has reemerged, drawing backlash from many who described the actions being performed as "disgusting."

The events took place during the school's annual "BALTO week," where students take part in a number of outrageous, and in many cases gross, activities and challenges to raise money for charity.

One of the activities involved students licking what appears to be peanut butter off someone's feet in clips posted to X by Libs of TikTok. The feet licking has been going on for several years.

In 2015, the ENHS student council uploaded a video recap of that years BALTO week, showcases the feet licking. Similar activities also appears in video recaps of the 2017 and 2020 BALTO week.

Other challenges featured in the videos include chugging barbecue sauce, eating a variety of foods in unorthodox ways, and dance competitions.

Commenters on YouTube questioned why the strange activities were only coming to light now, with one calling the events "weird af."

"I'm so glad I made it through school without having to lick peanut butter off somebody's feet to raise money for the school," another added.

The footage was unearthed just days after another high school in the district 9 miles down the road came under fire as videos of students licking toes to raise money made the rounds on social media.

District officials made a statement defending the events saying that they were all "students who signed up for the game(s) they played ahead of time.”

“No Deer Creek faculty or staff participated in any of the games during this Clash of Classes assembly. Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek," the statement added.
