The View” host Sunny Hostin has claimed that former President Donald Trump is in hiding after Vice President Kamala Harris has taken a “media blitz” tour over the past week or so. Hostin asserted on the show that Harris is “running a flawless campaign” for the 2024 race.

She read off several headlines after Hostin offered nothing but adoration for Harris’ performance on the campaign trail and suggested that the VP isn’t winning in the polls because of the press running bad headlines: “CNN, ‘Democrats grow anxious,’ Axios, ‘Blue Wall blues,’ Fox, ‘Dems are scared to death.’”

Hostin added, making an argument against the Fox headline, “No, Dems are not scared to death, Dems are pumped! What I would like the press to talk a little bit more about is Trump is in hiding. He didn't do the ‘60 Minutes’ interview. He does not want to do another debate. He's in mental decline."

Hostin then complimented Barak Obama for scolding black men for not supporting Harris in outsized numbers as they did with him back in the 2008 and 2012 elections.

Harris’ “media blitz” has consisted of mostly friendly interviews over the course of the last couple weeks, going on places such as “The View,” an interview with Stephen Colbert, Howard Stern, and other liberal pundits. The one interview where she did not seem to perform as well was on 60 Minutes, and the outlet has not agreed to release the full transcript.

Over the course of her tour in media, Harris has dropped in the polls, and early voting numbers indicate that Trump is up in the swing states, according to The Hill. This week, however, Harris is now expected to sit down for an interview for the first time in the election cycle with Fox News' Bret Bair, a test that is sure to bring a lot of attention.

When Harris went on “The View” last week, she was asked if she would have done anything differently than Biden during the last three and a half years, to which she said, "There is not a thing that comes to mind." The statement was heavily criticized by pundits as well as media since Harris has tried to distance herself from the president.
