President-elect Donald Trump's campaign-style rally in Washington, D.C., on Sunday is set to kick off inaugural celebrations, one day before he begins his second term as president after a four-year absence. Dubbed the "Make America Great Again Victory Rally," the rally will take place at 3 pm ET at the Capital One Arena and is expected to mirror the high-energy speeches that have been a staple of Trump’s political style since his 2016 campaign.

Thousands could be seen on the streets of the nation's capital on Sunday, though the inauguration was moved inside after warnings of inclement weather.

The rally will feature a massive roster of prominent speakers, including tech mogul Elon Musk, who invested over $250 million to support Trump’s campaign and has become one of his closest allies. Other scheduled speakers include Vice President-elect JD Vance, UFC CEO Dana White, conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and commentator Megyn Kelly.

TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew is also slated to attend after Trump promised intervention to prevent the app’s US ban. Chew is expected to join other tech executives at Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

Events at the rally will include performances by Kid Rock, The Village People, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Lee Greenwood.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden will spend his final day in office in Charleston, South Carolina, where he will commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Biden plans to attend services and deliver remarks on King's legacy at Royal Missionary Baptist Church.

Earlier on Sunday, Trump honored fallen soldiers with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. He is also scheduled to attend a private dinner with key supporters in Washington that evening.
