On Saturday, Tim Pool offered to add $5,000 as a reward offer to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of an arsonist in Raleigh, North Carolina, who set fire to a "Trump Won" yard sign. This would be on top of the initial reward offer of $1,000 which came from the man who owned the sign, John Kane. Conservative influencer Benny Johnson joined in soon after that, saying he would add another $5,000 to the pile.

In total, Kane's money combined with that of Pool and Johnson has brought the pot to $11,000.

A video posted to X by John Kane on Friday, showed a man on a bike stopping to kick at the sign at 7:14 am on August 12. It then cuts to a video from 4:19 am August 15, where the man on a bike lit the sign on fire causing it to burn completely.

Kane's post read, "$1,000 reward for the ID of this arsonist - help me make him a felon."

Citizen Free Press shared the video, to which Pool reacted, "Do we know who is offering the reward?" He added, "I'll add $5,000 to the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this arsonist."

Later, after The Post Millennial shared Kane's Video and mentioned that Pool was "offering a cash reward for this man's identity," Johnson responded, "I'll add $5,000 to the reward."

"I am offering $5,000. Reward is now + $10,000 for information on the violent criminal leftist who burned down a trump sign," he added in a seperate post. "We need to stand up against hatred. No more political violence in [America]"

Kane reportedly retained Lawyer James R. Lawrence III, who was Chief Counsel for the Food and Drug Administration under President Trump, to get accountability. Lawrence wrote in a post, "Regardless of what the Wake County District Attorney’s office does with this video, accountability is coming."

"@johnmkane1776, the owner of the burned sign in this video, has retained me to file a lawsuit against the pyro-activist once he is identified," he added.

According to North Carolina Senate Bill 315, unlawful removal or vandalism of a political sign is a class 3 misdemeanor. The law states in section 1 (e), "Penalties for Unlawful Removal of Signs. – It is a Class 3 misdemeanor for a person to steal, deface, vandalize, or unlawfully remove a political sign that is lawfully placed under this section."
