A 62-year-old man was charged by York Regional Police with sexual assault in Toronto. The offences were done to a young girl between 2015 and 2017. It is said to have begun when she was twelve.

Back in May 2021, police started to investigate a music teacher after they were given information that regarded a sexual assault. The police learned that the sexual assaults happened during private piano lessons at the teacher’s residence. Since the teacher has been giving music lessons at his place of residence for many years, it is believed that there are more victims.

Win-Ki Lau, known as "Ricky," was arrested on June 17, 2021. He was released on bail. But he is scheduled to stand before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 15, 2021.
