Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is the victim of embarrassment after it was revealed that he has been pranked by two Russian YouTubers. Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who are also known as Vovan and Lexus, released the full audio recording where they impersonate Greta Thunberg.

This call took place last January, following the tragic events of the Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 getting shot down in Iran. The Prime Minister was inundated with phone calls following the event, as those on board were Canadian citizens. Somehow, these pranksters managed to slip through the cracks and get on the line with Trudeau. This is according to ipolitics.

The impersonator tells Trudeau, “You are adults but you act like children… so I ask you don’t play war, we can make the world a better place if we love each other, we can create a world for whites Blacks, Christians, Muslims, Trump, (Vladimir) Putin, for you and me, for Johnson, for terrorists.”

In one instance, the fake Great tells Trudeau that President Trump is “doing everything he can to kill us,” to which Trudeau replied, “I can understand people can feel very strongly about him."

Trudeau then also thanks the fake Greta for being in Canada during the 2019 Federal election, and promoting climate activism.

The embarrassment to the Prime Minister is somewhat lessened after the same pranksters managed to also dupe Prince Harry, President Emmanuel Macron, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, and vice-president-elect Kamala Harris.

A spokesperson for the PMO said that when Trudeau realized he was not speaking to the real Thunberg, he ended the call.
