On Monday, Donald Trump slammed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is seeking to charge him in connection with alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia. This would be Trump's fourth indictment.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, the former president decried the DA's actions and suggested that they amounted to "election interference."

"I understand through illegal leaks to the fake news media that phoney [sic] Fani Willis ... wants desperately to indict me on the ridiculous grounds of tampering with the 2020 presidential election," Trump said.

He went on to claim that he did nothing of the sort, and instead suggested that "those who rigged & stole the election were the ones doing the tampering, & they should be prosecuted."

"I made a perfect phone call of protest," Trump continued. "Why wasn't this fake case brought 2.5 years ago? Election interference!"

In a separate post, the former president called Willis out, questioning why she was going after him while she "shockingly allowed Atlanta to become one of the most dangerous cities anywhere in the world."

He urged the grand jury not to indict him, and said he'd be "happy" to show them the evidence he has.

Trump went on to slam former Georgia Lt. Gov. [Geoff] Duncan, who is reportedly testifying before the grand jury this week, calling him a "loser."

"He shouldn't," the former president said. "I barely know him but he was, right from the beginning of this Witch Hunt, a nasty disaster for those looking into the Election Fraud that took place in Georgia."

According to Reuters, Duncan and another witness have confirmed that they will be appearing before the grand jury on Tuesday. Duncan, who has long been critical of Trump's claims regarding the election, said he will "certainly answer whatever questions are put in front of [him],"

Independent journalist George Chidi also confirmed that he will be testifying in front of the grand jury.
