A new poll shows that Donald J. Trump (R) is defeating President Biden (D) in seven swing states that could decide the outcome of the 2024 US Presidential Election.

Data shows that 8 out of 10 voters in the crucial swing states are concerned about Biden's age and believe that the 81-year-old president is too old to lead the country. Biden's age was the top concern among respondents, according to the survey conducted by Bloomberg/Morning Consult.

Former President Donald Trump, who is the GOP frontrunner, is defeating Biden in seven battleground states including Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Trump leads Biden 49 percent to 43 percent in Arizona; 49 percent to 43 percent in Georgia; 46 percent to 44 percent in Michigan; 48 percent to 42 percent in Nevada; 50 percent to 41 percent in North Carolina; 49 percent to 43 percent in Pennsylvania; and 46 percent to 42 percent in Wisconsin, according to the poll.

The poll shows that voters from across every demographic, including Democrats, think Biden is too old, compared to more than half of respondents who said that Donald Trump, 77, is not too old to be president. Although, more respondents considered Trump to be more "dangerous" than President Biden, according to the data.

President Biden's age has been a significant concern throughout his presidency. The president has had many gaffes, falls, and trips during his time in the White House, which has caused major concerns surrounding the president's cognitive health.

The White House has attempted to deflect from the issue and has maintained that Biden's mental acuity is not a cause of concern. Analysts believe otherwise and former Democrat President Barack Obama recently stated concerns about Biden winning reelection.

This issue could have been cleared up through means of a cognitive exam, but Biden's physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor asserted that such an exam would not be necessary. O'Connor recently conducted a physical on Biden and claimed that the president is in good health.

Another issue with swing state voters that is detrimental to the Biden campaign, according to the poll, is the crisis at the US southern border caused by Biden's open border policies.

The poll of 4,955 voters was conducted from Feb. 12 to Feb. 20 and has a margin of error of 1 percentage point.
