Trump will be arraigned on Tuesday on 34 felony counts.
Crowds of protestors and supporters alike began congregating throughout the city on Monday, awaiting the outcome of the former president's first court appearance.
Outside the courthouse, Trump supporters stood strong in their convictions, decked out in red MAGA hats and holding their iconic red, white, and blue flags Trump flags.
At the same time, several protestors were spotted waving anti-Trump flags. "F*ck Trump," one read, while another said, "Trump indic(a)ted," referencing a tweet where the former president misspelled the word "indicted."
Controversial congressman George Santos made an appearance, however he kept it brief after being mobbed by the media, many of whom questioned why he was there.
While the situation has remained mostly peaceful, a small scuffle broke out between a member of the press and an attendee.
"Don't ever f*ck with me," the member of the press said, holding the attendee by his hoodie. He eventually let go and walked away, but his behavior was criticized by those in attendance.
"Get the f*ck outta here," a Trump supporter told him. "We don't want your kind in here."
In the footage, it is unclear what led to the member of the media targeting the attendee, as well as whether he was a supporter of the former president.
Between attendees, the only confrontation has been verbal, with members of the two opposing factions shouting at one another from across barriers.
"You're sick!" a man in a red hat said. "You're ruining this country!"
"I'm the one that thinks the law should actually apply to everyone," a protestor retorted.
Not long after, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made her way up to the courthouse from Collect Pond, where she had been hosting another protest.
"This is election interference," she claimed while being mobbed by the media.
Greene's arrival was anticipated by left-wing protestors, who brought whistles to blow in the faces of her and her supporters.
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
