Twitter has decided to disable a tribute video to George Floyd made by President Trump's campaign team after an alleged copyright complaint.

Curiously enough, the video still remains on YouTube without having been taken down for the reasons Twitter pointed out.

The clip features a compilation of photos and videos of protesters marching down the street as well as some instances of violence from rioters and looters, all while Trump gives a speech in the background.

Trump also calls out "rioters, looters, and anarchists," and even specifies the damage that Antifa and other far-left radical groups have done since the outbreak of this violence.

This comes after Trump has made known his intention to designate Antifa as a terrorist group, which was followed by the announcement on June 3 that TPM's Andy Ngo is suing Antifa for the assault done to him in the summer of 2019.

Floyd's wrongful death on May 25 has not only led to massive protests and riots within the US, but it has spread globally.

Twitter's decision to remove the video is the latest blow in an on-going feud between the social media platform and the president, with Twitter fact-checking Trump's tweets while failing to uphold those same standards to other politicians on the platform.

Twitter said the video that Trump's campaign team posted was in violation of their copyright policy.

"We respond to valid copyright complaints sent to use by a copyright owner or their authorized representatives," said a Twitter representative.

The video has racked up nearly 140,000 views and 16,000 likes since it was posted on June 3.

At the same time, presidential candidate Joe Biden has posted his own video on June 3 that addresses the protests and riots, but his video has been allowed to stay up.

Biden's video features a direct attack on Trump and his handling of the protests-turned-riots within the last week, with photos and videos of police officers in riot gear. The video has garnered nearly 70,000 likes and has been shared almost 23,000 times.

Twitter has taken aim at the Trump administration since it fact-checked one of Trump's tweets about unsubstantiated claims of mail-in voting fraud.

It also labeled one of his tweets about the protests in Minneapolis as "glorifying violence."

And Twitter has apparently labeled Trump as the platform's top "racist" with this:

Trump has pledged to introduce legislation that would weaken a law that protects social media companies from liability for content posted by users on the platform.
