WATCH: 'Real, serious, true dough': Poilievre calls out Trudeau over family's close ties, donations from WE Charity

"The question was whether his family got $427,000 as the Kielburgers claim, or 556,000 as the written documents suggest. Either way it's a lot of dough. Real, serious, true dough."

Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre took to the floor of the House of Commons on Wednesday to highlight contradictory testimony on how much Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family has profited from WE Charity.

"For this Prime Minister, charity begins at home. His home. In fact, when little children across Canada donated their lunch money, and pennies, and their allowances to help poor kids in [developing] countries, somehow, hundreds of thousands of dollars of that money ended up with the Prime Minister's family," Poilievre began.

"Committee information on how much his family got is now contradictory. In writing, the total is $556,000, but in Kielburger testimony, it's [$427,000]. How much did his family get?"

The Prime Minister did not answer the question, instead attacking Conservatives for asking him questions about the scandal while his government focuses on policy.

"The question was whether his family got $427,000 as the Kielburgers claim, or 556,000 as the written documents suggest. Either way it's a lot of dough. Real, serious, true dough," said Poilievre, asking what the money had to do with influencing Trudeau's decision to give the half-billion contract to the WE Charity.

He then continued by asking whether the Prime Minister would allow his staff to testify on the matter and whether the money which Trudeau received influenced the government's decision to designate a sole-source contract to the charity.

Poilievre has been among the most public of Conservative MPs in dogging the Liberals over the WE Charity scandal, famously holding up censored and blacked out documents related to the charity before Parliament as the Liberals attempted to obfuscate.
