At today’s White House press conference briefing on the coronavirus, President Trump slammed Joe Biden and his campaign, suggesting that Biden is incapable of writing his own tweets or following along during a news conference.

Trump referenced a real-time tweet by Biden that claimed “Donald Trump is not responsible for the coronavirus, but he is responsible for failing to prepare our nation to respond to it.”

The president let loose and slammed the Biden campaign.

"He didn't write anything. He has professionals from the Democrats writing... He didn't write that. That was done by a Democrat operative. He doesn't write. He probably isn't watching right now. And if he did, he doesn't understand what he's watching," Trump said.

"Joe Biden didn't write that," he went on to say. "He wished he did."

Earlier in the press conference Trump said, “We had breaking news last night. I think the probable presidential candidate for the democrats will be Joe Biden. And he agreed that I was correct when I stopped people from China early, very very early, from coming into our country. Dr. Fauci said that was a very big moment because it would be a much different picture right now had we allowed thousands and thousands of people to come in from China.”

“I appreciated the fact that [Biden] did because I was called xenophobic, racist, I was called many things when I did that and I got a lot of credit for it in The Federalist… they said I was right at every move, and going through a fake impeachment… a hoax.”

“But I appreciated the fact that Joe Biden announced last night that he now agrees I was correct when I stopped people from China coming in at a very early date.”

It was after this statement that Biden’s campaign released the tweet.

“The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself,” was the message of Trump’s conference today. “We’re not gonna have to have separation for the rest of our time on the planet.”

“We will move heaven and earth to safeguard our American citizens,” Trump said. “We have to get back to work, we have to open our country again, we don’t want to be doing this for months and months and months. We want to open our country again, our country wasn’t meant for this, few were.”
