Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) had a "victory lap" moment on Thursday, as Special Counsel John Durham has just indicted Russian citizen Igor Danchenko for falsifying information to authorities.

Danchenko was previously arrested on Nov. 5 2021 and has now been charged in connection to an FBI dossier compiled in 2016 which was used to try and tie Donald Trump to the Russian government. He is accused of deliberately misleading the FBI by lying to them.

Durham has been on a roll all year. In Sept. 2021, he also indicted Michael Sussmann, a lawyer connected to the Clinton family, also for lying to federal authorities regarding the purported Trump-Russia connection.

Rep. Jordan, who heads the House Judiciary Committee, has been a vocal champion of the Durham investigations from day one. He commented to Fox News on Thursday:

"Those of us who were in this, you know, back when no one else was, it's sort of like, we told you so."

"That sounds arrogant, and I don’t mean to be, but this is what we said. This is what they were doing – what they were accusing President Trump of doing, they were actually doing – they were working with the Russians and it goes right to the Clinton campaign."

"They are being indicted for the original lies that they told back in 2016 and 2017 to the FBI."

Rep. Jordan went on to state that Danchenko had been caught "bragging that if Clinton won he was going to get a job in the State Department."

"This is the Clinton campaign – they orchestrated this whole thing," he concluded.
