Patrons at a grocery store drove a woman out of the store when they noticed that she was not wearing a protective mask.

The incident happened in a Staten Island grocery store when the unmasked woman approached a cluster of people at the intersection of an aisle.

One of the angered patrons yelled at the unmasked woman, saying, "Get the fuck out of here."

At the end of the video, a man referred to the woman as a "dirty-ass pig."

The protocol in New York instructs all New Yorkers to wear a mask if they are outside their home and may not be able to maintain a distance of 6 feet between another person.

It appears that many people are being not only hyper-vigilant with their readiness to criticize someone else for their mask etiquette, but are not always logical. This is complicated by the fact that people are not on the same page about the coronavirus  in order to make reasonable assessments about wearing masks.

Karol Markowicz tweeted out: "I know nobody knows anything, and we went from masks are stupid to masks are mandatory, but why would someone who had COVID-19, and then recovered, wear a mask?"

And The Post Millennial's own Libby Emmons tweeted out a similar question after she was asked why she was not wearing a mask, despite maintaining a distance of 6 feet from someone else.

As of May 20, seven of New York's 10 regions are set to implement a four-phase strategy in reopening the economy, which Cuomo said last month could take up to 18 months.
