Toronto Police have two men in custody following a car chase that took place after a carjacking on Monday, according to City News.

Police report that four people stole a vehicle at gunpoint close to Yorkdale Road and Dufferin Street.

Two of the men then drove off in the vehicle—a Range Rover—and the other two fled in a Kia.

Officers chased the Range Rover down until the suspects exited the vehicle at Fairview mall, say police.

They then ran from the area and police were able to catch the two men on foot and place them in custody.

The suspects in the Kia were able to flee the scene and authorities are still searching for them.
