Roughly 5,000 Swiss Army soldiers have been deployed to Davos, Switzerland to guard the attendees of this year's annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, an organization according to their website that "engages" with " leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas."

According to Blick, the Swiss Defense Department said in a statement on January 6, that Switzerland's Federal Assembly approved the military presence at this year's WEF, which will occur January 16-20.

The Swiss Army will guard the attendees, a list that has not been made public, from protestors and those opposed to the WEF's agenda.

Borge Brende, the WEF president, said the names of delegations could not be shared for security reasons and that some from Ukraine and China would be in attendance.

Michael Straub, the clerk of Davos, said two groups, "Strike WEF" and Juso Graubünden have submitted applications to gather and protest.

The WEF's theme this year is "Cooperation in a Fragmented World," which will lobby roughly 600 CEOs and 52 heads of state to "work together on the interconnected issues of energy, climate, and nature" and will have a "Special emphasis" on "gender and geographical diversity."

According to Breitbart, John Kerry, failed presidential candidate and Biden's climate czar will be attending along with Head of National Intelligence Avril Haines, Katherine Tai, the US Trade Representative, and a collection of US legislators and regional governors.

Klaus Schwab, the executive chairman of the World Economic Forum and its founder, said China was a "role model" for world governance in November 2022, days before protests broke out in the Communist country, spurred by the deaths of at least 12 people in a Urumqi apartment building fire. The residence was sealed shut by CCP officials to stop the spread of Covid and the victims were burned alive.

Schwab wrote and published the book "COVID 19: The Great Reset" with co-author Thierry Malleret. The book outlines a new world order, born out of the Corvid pandemic, where governments play a bigger role in wealth generation and distribution. Schwab's ideology pushes countries out of democratic governance and into technocracies, where "experts" make the decisions for all individuals. Schwab's 'Great Reset' promotes a tenet of vague values built on equity and green initiatives known as Environmental, Social, and Governance or ESG protocols.

In April, Elon Musk said ESG was the "devil incarnate" and Steven Bannon has called the Democrats and the Biden regime the "American arm" of the WEF apparatus.

On May 23, 2022 Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec was detained in Davos, Switzerland at the WEF. Posobiec was in Davos to film material for the docuseries and told WEF chairman Klaus Schwab directly, "Mr. Schwab, we're not going anywhere," while appearing on the Charlie Kirk Show.
