A trans Portland Antifa member with a history of violent threats against Jewish groups was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman at an Antifa direct action. Isabel Rosa Araujo is also under investigation for a death threat against city council member Rene Gonzalez.

Araujo, 38 (b. Aug 12, 1985), formerly known as Philip Vincent Haskins-Delici, was arrested on July 13 at a violent Antifa direct action in downtown Portland to disrupt a public Christian worship event.

The Portland Police have not commented publicly about the arrest but sources with knowledge say Araujo’s arrest was over a March assault on a woman at a Portland park during an Antifa direct action related to Palestine.

Araujo was charged with fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of tear gas and harassment, and was quickly released without bail.

In a separate incident, The Post Millennial can exclusively report that Araujo is under investigation by the Portland Police for making alleged death threats against moderate Portland city council member Rene Gonzalez and this reporter.

On June 27, Araujo posted a screenshot of an image of Commissioner Gonzalez superimposed with a red crosshair on his head in a private Instagram post under the username “redguard.in.blackbloc.666.” “You can always clean up Portland by getting rid of Rene,” Araujo wrote.

Two days later, Araujo posted a photo of this writer and the text: “Whoever wins in November, Milkshake Boy Loses. I vow in the second half of the 2020s to defeat Andy Ngo, give him his ‘October 7th’ and destroy the last manifestation of Internet cyber stalker in existence for Me.”

Oct. 7, 2023 was when Hamas massacred hundreds of Israeli civilians in a series of planned terrorist attacks.

In November 2023, Isabel Rose Araujo posted a photo holding a knife superimposed on a photo of Andy Ngo

When reached for comment, Shah Smith, Commissioner Gonzalez's chief of staff, responded in a message, “This has been referred to law enforcement.”

Gonzalez has been violently targeted and threatened by Antifa and the far-left in Portland since running against leftist former city council member Jo Ann Hardesty in November 2022.

“Truly, whatever the hell we do, Gonzalez, we’ll make you regret you ever ran,” threatened Portland Antifa member Beatrix Wing Ling Li on social media at the time.

In January this year, Gonzalez’s home was the target of an arson attack where his family’s new vehicle was destroyed in a fire. Antifa blog “Rose City Counter Info” later posted a claim of responsibility for the attack.

Most of Araujo’s posts, viewable to a select crowd of Antifa followers, urge violence.

“Those Zionists aren’t going to curb stomp themselves,” Araujo wrote in a post, asking for comrades to supply new combat-style boots.

In another post showing a person with an Israeli flag being assaulted in the street, Araujo wrote: “Street battles with Zionists are going to be more of a thing in the future. Prepare accordingly and escalate.”

In June, Araujo posted the addresses of the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland and the Mittleman Jewish Community Center. “Do whatever you want with this publicly available information,” Araujo wrote, adding red upside-down triangle symbols that were used by Hamas to mark targets on the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks in Israel.

Araujo frequently posts about having a weapons cache. In a list posted on Instagram, Araujo has boasted about having nearly $700 worth of “pepper spray munitions for Zionists/Fash acting up," and claimed to have collapsible batons, knives and “other bladed weaponry.”

In a post featuring the Antifa red and black flags logo, Araujo told followers to reach out privately if they “need weapons and gear recommendations.”

Araujo warned: “I am amongst the most heavily armed autistic trans femmes here in Portland - a fascist’s worst nightmare.” The post was signed off as “Aspen,” one of Araujo's aliases.

Araujo was booked into a Multnomah County jail as a “female” due to Oregon’s policy of sex self-identification in state institutions, despite having a history of organizing violence against women.

In 2022, Araujo used CashApp and Venmo to fundraise to buy weapons, including a collapsible baton and bowie knife, ahead of a Portland rally by British women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen.

Araujo was also active during the 2020 Portland Black Lives Matter-Antifa riots. In November 2020, this writer reported that Araujo was a masked militant who was recorded assaulting pro-police protesters with pepper spray outside the Justice Center. Araujo was never charged over the assault.

The Portland Police told TPM Araujo's July 13 arrest was over an alleged assault on a woman at Couch Park.

Araujo pleaded not guilty at a virtual arraignment on Tuesday afternoon and asked for a public defender. Araujo also claimed to be the victim of online stalkers and asked for court security help.

"I do have some personal security issues going on with my life right now,” Araujo said via a phone call to the court. “I have people listening [here].”

The prosecutor asked the judge to ban Araujo from having pepper spray while the case was ongoing.

The judge denied the request.

Araujo's next hearing is scheduled for Aug. 14.
