Representative Adam Schiff said on Thursday that Republicans don’t have the evidence to back an impeachment of President Joe Biden.

"Democrats seem to not care when there’s a Democrat in the White House about possible corruption in the Oval Office," a Fox News reporter asked Schiff.

"We care about corruption. The corruption that we’re seeing is a corruption of the Republican Party that has no high crimes, no misdemeanors, but just has a thirst for impeachment," Schiff responded.

"Wouldn’t an inquiry help Democrats get that evidence that you say you don’t have at this time?" she asked.

"Democrats don’t have evidence and so Republicans don’t have evidence," he responded.

On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said that the Biden family’s business dealings are "rising to the level of impeachment inquiry."

"When President Biden was running for office, he told the American public that he's never talked about business. He said his family has never received a dollar from China, which now we prove is not true," McCarthy said.

McCarthy said that Biden "has also used something we have not seen since Richard Nixon: Use the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight."

"If they really ran it for foreign countries, why didn’t you get money from France, from Germany, from the UK? Why does it have to be China, Romania, these countries that have real challenges and had problems going through?"

During meetings that Hunter Biden held with overseas business associates, he allegedly included his father when he was Vice President. Hunter would put his father on speakerphone to participate in business dealings, with this reportedly occurring on over a dozen occasions.

Hunter Biden was also seen in messages telling a Chinese business associate that "The Biden's are the best I know at doing exactly what the Chairman wants from this [partnership]."

Another message stated, "I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled," the message read. "Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father."

Schiff was censored by the House in June after Schiff has pushed the Russia collusion hoax for years, which led to the first impeachment of Trump in 2020.

"The lie that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 presidential election, revealed to be completely false by numerous investigations, including the Durham report, the lie that the Steele dossier a folder of falsified and since completely debunked collusions accusations funded by the Democrat Party had any shred of credibility, yet Schiff read it into congressional record as fact," Rep. Anna Paulina Luna told the House floor bringing forward the motion to censure.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
