In a recent interview with Fox News, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the John Kirby indicated that the White House currently has no plans to re-freeze the $6 billion of funds that the Biden administration released to Iran about a month before Israel was sieged with a surprise attack by Hamas

"The $6 billion, that the Qatari is are holding that was unfrozen in order to get three hostages back." began Fox News' Martha MacCallum. "Is that money now going to be refrozen?"

"I don't want to get ahead of the policy decisions going forward here." Kirby replied. "As I said, last time, you and I talked about this, that money can be refrozen... We won't hesitate to make that decision if we feel we need to. But I'm not going to get ahead of a policy decision that hasn't been made yet."

This response by Kirby comes shortly after the Biden White House called a lid on Monday shortly before noon. The current death count in Israel amid the Hamas attacks is approaching 1000.

Other recently notable utterings from the Biden administration include a post in which Secretary of State Antony Blinken indicated he agreed with a proposition for a cease-fire that was put forth Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. Blinken promptly deleted that post, and the White House made a point to say that his words do not "accurately reflect" the position of the Biden administration regarding the conflict between Hamas and Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that "Hamas started a cruel and evil war" and that while Israel will win, "the price will be heavy."

At least 9 Americans have been reported dead due to the attacks in Israel.

US defense stocks have seen an uptick in value since the carnage began, with notable companies including Lockheed Martin shooting up 7 percent, Northrop Grumman climbing 10 percent, and RTX (formerly known as Raytheon) increasing by over 3 percent.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
