Donald Trump arrived at UFC 302 on Saturday night in his second public appearance after his conviction in the NYC trial. The audience erupted in a standing ovation at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

As Trump entered the arena with longtime friend and UFC CEO Dana White, the crowd erupted in cheers with many standing on their feet.

As he walked in, Trump shook hands with some people on the side and waved to the crowd.

He shook hands with some who appeared to be younger teens and then shook hands with well-known podcaster and UFC fan Joe Rogan.

Theo Von was also seen in a clip alongside Trump. Flags supporting the 45th president were also held up by some in the audience.

The main event of the night is the Lightweight Championship contest between champion Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier, who is looking to win the official title and add another large win to his career, per USA Today. Another main event of the night will be a fight in the middleweight category between Sean Strickland and Paulo Costa.

As the contest began, a chant of "F*ck Joe Biden," was also heard in the arena after Trump's entrance. The appearance from Trump follows a pattern of stronger support he has gotten from his base after the conviction this past week.

When Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsified business records on Thursday, Trump's campaign page crashed due to the number of supports flocking to donate to the presumptive GOP nominee.

Trump's campaign raised over $50 million in the first 24 hours after his conviction on Thursday, per CBS News
