BREAKING: Suspects in beating death of Ethan Liming stole his car, preventing friends from taking him to the hospital

On Tuesday, it was revealed that the suspects wanted in the brutal killing of a Firestone Community Learning Center student stole his car when his friends attempted to take him to the hospital.

In a police document obtained by Human Event’s Jack Posobiec, what is believed to be a witness to the incident recalled what happened.

"Stafford did knowingly cause or attempt to cause serious physical harm to Ethan Liming. The result of the felonious assault resulted in the death of Ethan Liming," the statement began.

"Stafford was in an altercation with Liming, [redacted] Stafford punched, assaulted, Liming, [redacted]. Stafford then beat Liming until he was unconscious, and then beat him more as he was unconscious on the group, by stomping and kicking him multiple times on the head, resulting in his death on-scene.

"When [redacted] attempted to come to Liming’s aid by taking him to the hospital, the suspect took Liming’s car and drove to the other end of the lot," the statement concluded.

Authorities say that Liming was playing basketball at a court on school grounds with a group of at least three other males. A fight broke out in the parking lot of the Akron, Ohio school.

The 17-year-old student’s cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, investigators say.

Three men have been charged in relation to the death, with the men all being held on a million-dollar bond each.

The school was founded by basketball star Lebron James’ Lebron James Family Foundation.

James has faced backlash for the death of Liming, with people, like Posobiec, calling for him to demand justice for the student.

"And so the question is, Mr. James, why is this taking place within the confines of your school? I love the media saying,... 'It was near the school, it wasn't in the school...' Guess what. The basketball court, the parking lot, that's part of the school. That's on school grounds, everybody knows that," said Posobiec.

"Should I say that LeBron James needs to be held accountable for this? No, of course not. Is he to blame for this? No, of course not. But what I am saying, though, is that he's been awfully quiet about the beating death of Ethan Liming, a 17-year-old kid, obviously goofing around. But the fact that he was assaulted, beaten, and killed by these individuals really flies in the face of everything we've been talking about in this country," said Posobiec.

Following the shooting, James posted a brief Twitter post expressing his condolences to the family of Liming.

"Our condolences goes out to the family who lost a loved one!! My the heavens above watch over you during this tragedy! Pray for our community!" he wrote.
