"Perhaps the party should come together, people should drop out of the race."
The former president pointed out that while he has maintained a commanding lead in the race for the Republican nominee, many of his competitors have been slipping in the polls.
"Great polls just out," Trump began, highlighting those that showed him with 40, 50, or even 60 percent support. "Who expected that? I did," he quipped.
He went on to point out that recent data suggested he was not only predicted to be the Republican candidate, but that he would beat Biden in a general election as well.
"DeSanctimonious is crashing," Trump continued. "Perhaps the party should come together, people should drop out of the race, we unify, and we beat Biden and the Democrats. They should be easy to beat because our country has never been in worse condition than it is right now."
This is a breaking story and will be updated.
