FBI agent Justin Devine has been caught on hidden camera by James O'Keefe's OMG stating that it is likely no one involved in the intricate Minnesota Somali daycare fraud scandal will be held accountable, explaining that the Department of Justice (DOJ) "walks these cases out." Devine, a five-year veteran of the Bureau, suggested that no one will be arrested or imprisoned and that the FBI will attempt to "pin it" on a "fall guy," instead of dismantling the fraud networks.

Additionally, Devine slammed FBI Director Kash Patel as "lazy," calling him a "diva," and claiming that Patel will make no arrests of people in the "deep state" in the near future. The allegations were made to an undercover reporter with investigative journalist James O'Keefe's media group, OMG.

Dozens of individuals have already been charged by federal prosecutors for their alleged roles in defrauding taxpayer-funded Minnesota state programs of billions of dollars. FBI Director Kash Patel recently stated that additional arrests would be made. So far, 85 of the 98 individuals who have been indicted identify as Somali-Americans, per CBS News. Despite the efforts, Devine suggested that fraud cases take years to investigate. By the time they reach court, President Donald Trump would likely be out of office, paving the way for a new administration to close the cases.

"Do you think they are going to arrest the people that are dealing with daycare stuff?" the undercover reporter asked Devine.

"The thing with those cases," he said, "is that I think by the time that case is done, even like being looked at and ready to go to court, Trump won't even be in office anymore," explaining that fraud cases take years to investigate and prosecute.

The reporter pressed further, "You don't think the FBI would arrest them?"

"I don't think so because over and over and over again it's been shown that it doesn't work," said Devine. "Also, nobody, I don't think anybody, would ever go to prison. Like, they would most likely be thrown out very quickly. They're going to try to pin it on somebody and make it seem like a crime. Like a very serious crime...They need somebody to take the fall."

When asked about his thoughts on FBI Director Kash Patel, Devine responded, "Everything was better" under Biden. He went on to mock Patel's height before describing him as a "diva" who is "lazy as hell." Devine further stated that Patel is "not good at his job" nor is he "smart enough" to be the agency's director.

Both the Department of Justice and the FBI have maintained that investigations into the Minnesota fraud scandal remain ongoing. The Trump administration has surged federal resources to the state in recent weeks following independent journalist Nick Shirley's Somali daycare fraud expose.
