The Center for Disease Control has issued its travel advisory for Canada, saying that American travellers should "avoid all travel" to the great white north.

According to the CDC, the COVID-19 level in Canada is "very high," following the Trudeau government's languid vaccine distribution, which has left a vast swath of this country's population unprotected.

Written on the CDC website is this depressing proclamation: "Because of the current situation in Canada even fully vaccinated travellers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants and should avoid all travel to Canada."

They further hesitantly suggest that "If [Americans] must travel to Canada, get fully vaccinated before travel. All travellers should wear a mask, stay 6 feet from others, avoid crowds, and wash their hands."

According to The New York Times' Covid vaccination tracker, Canada has only vaccinated 16 percent of the population. Only 2 percent of the population is fully vaccinated.

This leaves Canada in a remarkable 59th place globally in "total vaccines per 100 people."
