The mural had been vandalized with messages including “a good Nazi is a dead Nazi,” “womp womp,” and “Free Palestine” scrawled across Kirk’s face.
The original mural, featuring a smiling Kirk with the words “Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk,” was painted for a vigil held at the 17th Avenue Railroad Trestle. Hundreds gathered there to honor Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, who was shot and killed last week while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Police said that during the observance, a man attempted to spray paint over the mural. Witnesses reported that someone from the crowd pepper-sprayed the individual, who was later taken to the hospital.
By nightfall, the mural had been vandalized with messages including “a good Nazi is a dead Nazi,” “womp womp,” and “Free Palestine” scrawled across Kirk’s face. By Monday morning, young people had covered the defacement with new layers of paint featuring scripture and notes of encouragement.
Graffiti Bridge has long been a Pensacola landmark where visitors leave tributes, artwork, and symbolic messages.

The Left has no consideration or civility. Coward hid his face and trashed a memorial to an honorable man. The Left and the Right are not the same, and mostly incompatible due to the Left’s evil, corruption and deceit.
