A Soros-backed Chicago prosecutor declined to pursue charges against a violent repeat offender who was arrested by ICE on first-degree murder charges. Juan David Ramirez-Olivo, 19, has been accused of fatally shooting a 17-year-old girl with a gun he had illegally obtained, records show. He is referred to as a "noncitizen," but was a parolee of the Biden-Harris' administration's programs for migrants.

Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx's Office told the court during a Friday bond hearing that the office found "insufficient evidence" to charge Ramirez-Olivo, and moved to repeal the charges. The decision was not welcomed by law enforcement agencies who described the Colombian national as a "danger" to the community.

Ramirez-Olivo was arrested by Chicago police on Sept. 28 and booked into the Cook County jail over the death of Stephanie Lopez Ramirez, an illegal immigrant who died from two gunshot wounds after a firearm went off in a neighboring apartment. Police said the firearm was illegally obtained by Ramirez-Olivo, and believe the suspect purchased the weapon on the street.

Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) sources told Fox News that Ramirez-Olivo came to the United States under the parole program and was given a notice to appear. ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) issued an immigration detainer following his arrest.

"On Oct. 3, officers from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations Chicago lodges an immigration detainer with Chicago Police Department's 11th District on Juan David Ramirez-Olivo, 19, a Colombian national, following his arrest for murder in the first degree," ICE spokesperson Erin Bultje said.

Chicago PD had pushed for Ramirez-Olivo to be charged with involuntary manslaughter, but Foxx's office repealed the charges and decided to forgo prosecution. Police said the suspect lied about his nationality upon arrest, falsely claiming he was from Venezuela instead of Colombia. The Biden-Harris administration has a policy of admitting all minors across the border with no questions asked.

"If [prosecutors] want to say that it was a complete accident and it wasn't reckless then minimally charge him with the weapon that he admitted to illegally purchasing," a Chicago police source told Fox News. "No one thinks it's legal to purchase a gun off a guy on the street. Plus, he shouldn't even have a weapon."

Court records show that Juan David Ramirez-Olivo was arrested in March for possession of a knife. He was also previously accused of stabbing someone at an unknown date, as reported by Law Enforcement Today.
