EXCLUSIVE: Hundreds flock to Kirk Cameron story reading in Seattle as Christian alternative to Drag Queen Story Hour is wild success

Cameron, who has authored multiple children's books with the Christian-conservative publishing company BRAVE Books, resumed his fight against the progressive agenda dominating children's literature and stepped into the "lions den" for "BRAVE Story Hour", which attracted families eager to hear Chrisitian views, as well as counter-protesters that weren't so welcoming.

"I am a father of six children," Kirk told The Post Millennial. "Parenting is a sacred duty for us and what we're doing is trying to model what I think all parents ought to be doing and that is: be in the leadership position with regard to the education of your children."

"Let them know that there is good and evil in the world. Let them know that the path of humility, and kindness, and love is the path toward blessings. Not the path of pride, and self, and me," Kirk said. "That's what leads to pain, and shame, and guilt, and misery."

While Seattle typically sees progressive events such as Drag Queen Story Hour, which has been at the height of controversy for a repeated history of sexually-illict behavior towards children by biological men dressed as women, BRAVE Story Hour offers an alternative environment that parents said they felt safe taking their kids to.

Robyn Balcom, a local-area resident and leader within the King County Republican Party, told The Post Millennial that Drag Queen Story Hour events are used by parents, educators, and politicians to push gender-identity indoctrination onto kids, which is both "damaging" and "destructive."

"We believe firmly that according to biology and science, there is male and female," Balcom said outside the Seattle Public Library. "Children need to know their identity and grow up in a secure identity. I think that these Drag Queen Story Hour's are destructive and damaging children. So we're here to support something good for once."

"It's going to be good, wholesome stories, and we're excited!" Balcom exclaimed. "Parents are to be the guardians of their children's hearts and minds until they get to an age where they can make decisions for themselves and that's what we want to do. We think that this attack on the children by the radical left is extreme. So we want to come in with some extreme love and goodness."

Speaking on why the radical left seemingly targets children, the former "Growing Pains" teen heartthrob explained that the quickest way to destroy western civilization is to radicalize the minds of the youth.

"Even those who are destroyers of liberty understand that principle," Cameron said as he discussed the indoctrination epidemic grasping the county's most impressionable minds. "That's why the destroyers of liberty and virtue go after the little kids."

While Cameron said that he can't physically enact change in households across the country, the author explained that BRAVE Story Hour sucessfully equips families with the necessary tools to fight back, with books being the greatest weapon; and encouraged families to take a stand against Drag Queen Story Hour to stop "grooming" behavior.

"As a friend of liberty and vitrue, I can go to public libraries and encourge people and supply them with books that they can read to their kids," Cameron told The Post Millennial.

"It's peculiar to me that parents would ever bring their children to something that used to be characterized as lewd, inappropriate, and even worthy of criminal prosecution," Cameron said. "You have child abusers. You have pedophiles that are on record and not allowed to be near libraries. Now they're being invited and being sponsored by the libraries."

"It's interesting to me. The grooming that's going on," Kirk said. "The sexually provacative dancing in front of children."

"Women that are sexual entainment dancers would never be allowed in a public library but if men dress as women and do those same things, it's not only okay, it's being celebrated," Kirk explained. Where are the moms and dads? Where are those that want to stand up and say our children are precious. Their hearts, minds, and souls belong to their moms and dads. We have a responsibility to protect them and to lead them into blessing in the future."

"We need to stand up for the kids because they're the one's who are going to suffer the consequences of an upside-down morality," Kirk told The Post Millennial.

Despite multiple attempts by Seattle-area leftists to get the library to cancel Kirk Cameron's book tour in the days leading up to the event, only a handful of protesters showed up to stand in solidarity with the transgender community, and to protest what they described as a rise in "Christian nationalism."

One protester even compared Cameron's "wholesome" book reading to Adolf Hitler of Nazi Germany.

"I'm here to oppose what I see as a growing movement of Christian national identity and that was Hitler's religion," the protester said to The Post Millennial. "So I oppose that."

She then slammed Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who recently signed a series of laws that ban gender-afirming care in the state, and said that his anti-transgender legislation will drive trans-identified children to "suicide."

"This is a tiny minority of people and they're being picked on," she said. "It's reprehensible."

Other protesters picketed with signs as families gathered inside the public library which read, "It's Drag Kirk. Get over it", "Feminists for Trans", and "Hex the Patriachy", among others.

While open-attacks on Christianity are seemingly increasing across the United States, such as the Los Angeles Dodgers major league baseball team gifting a "community hero award" to an anti-Catholic hate group, Kirk Cameron encouraged Christians to get involved stating that, "No amount of darkness can extinguish even a tiny little flicker of light."
