A deceptive advertisement encouraged supporters of Donald Trump to not use early, mail-in voting in the state of Pennsylvania. After people posted about the ad on Monday, a recording of it surfaced on social media.

The ad, labeled as being made by the group "Pennsylvania Values" appears with large text, saying, "MAGA Patriots, listen to our president." Pennsylvania Values is an LGBTQ activist organization.

The ad rolls through clips of Trump talking about how mail-in voting can be subject to fraud in different instances. At the beginning of the clip Trump states, "Mail-in voting is totally corrupt, get that through your head."

Other snippets of Trump being critical of the practice from the 2020 election rolled through the ad and the end text read, "Stand strong with President Trump against mail-in voting." The Trump camp, however, has encouraged the use of mail-in voting and other voting measures available to American citizens for the presidential election.

NBC elections reporter Andrew Argenge posted screenshots of the YouTube video of the ad being unlisted. Additionally, Argenge posted a link to the Google advertisement profile of Pennsylvania Values, showing that the ad was shown around 600,000-700,000 times in the area of Pennsylvania.

The advertisement was removed by Google and was reportedly marked with a policy violation. Many did not take kindly to the deceptive ad. One post from host Sean Parnell of the "Battleground Live" show helped to expose the ad on Monday.

Parnell wrote about the ad, saying, "This is brazen election interference and a direct response to what we are doing in Pennsylvania with mail-in ballots & Republican voter registration."

"This is NOT how President Trump feels. This is a lie. Timed deliberately with his rally in my home state of PA," he added. In the screenshot of the reported ad, it read, "Stand strong with President Trump against mail in voting." Under the larger text it read, "Paid for by Pennsylvania values. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee. 717-537-1218."
