Disney has reportedly adopted a benefits program for its employees that financially supports those traveling out-of-state to get abortions.

In a tweet posted by journalist Christopher Rufo, he said: "Disney—the world's largest children's entertainment company—has adopted a benefits program that will subsidize out-of-state abortions for employees and support sex change operations for their minor children."

The topic of abortion skyrocketed back into headlines this week after Politico published a leaked draft report from the Supreme Court in which a majority of justices said they would be voting to overturn Roe v Wade in the case of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health.

Following the leaked document, Amazon announced that they would be offering to pay staff up to $4000 in travel expenses for non-life threatening medical treatments, which includes abortions.

The payment applies if the procedure is not available within 100 miles of an employees home.

With a number of states having trigger laws that would restrict abortion access if Roe v Wade is overturned, the possibility of needing to travel for the abortions would be greater.

Rufo has been covering corporations’ inclusions of woke ideology, including Disney.

The entertainment giant’s benefits program had previously come under fire, after it was revealed that the company would help its employees and their children receive gender reassignment surgeries and hormone therapy.

A video obtained by Rufo showed an internal meeting in which a man explained that the benefits team would be offering help with "gender affirming care."

"The other big area is gender identity and expression. So doing all of this work to ensure that our employees and cast can express their gender here authentically and proudly at the company. So, you know, coming up with guides on how to change your photo information about pronouns, working with our benefits team to give information about gender affirmation procedures, both for our employees who are transitioning and trans, but also our employees who have kids who are transitioning," the man said.
