"If I wasn't Premier, I'd open up a cheesecake factory," said Ontario Premier Doug Ford in a recent video he posted to Twitter sharing his favourite cheesecake recipe, which he calls "The Premier's Cheesecake." Ford said he learned to make the recipe around the age of 10 from his mother.

His mother learned the recipe of her sister, his aunt Wendy. Ford begins by mixing three packs of dream whip into a large bowl and then adds one and a half cups of milk and beats.

Ford then put three bricks of cream cheese on a plate and heats it in the microwave for one minute. He then beats the cream cheese with the already mixed dream whip and milk.

For the base, he puts two boxes of graham crackers into a pot with half a brick of butter and one cup of sugar. Ford heats them up and then puts it in a casserole dish to bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.

Once the graham cracker base has finished baking, let it cool for 15 minutes before adding the whipped filling. Once added, Ford places it in the fridge to cool down for one hour.

To complete the topping, he pours on two cans of cherry pie filling and spreads evenly. He says that if you don't like cherries, blueberries are also a good substitute.

He then puts the completed cheesecake back into the fridge to cool for several hours.

The video is supposed to help people get inspired for things to do at home while self-isolating.
