Ontario Premier Doug Ford has said in a press conference today that he will release the coronavirus projection data, setting an entirely different course to that of the Prime Minister who will not.
Premier Ford said that Ontarians "deserve to see the same data that I see, you deserve to know what I know."
Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, drew some criticism today when he refused to reveal the coronavirus projection data. Instead, Trudeau said he thinks people can "imagine" the range of scenarios, from "everyone gets suddenly better" to "things keep getting worse."
"There is a range out there, and just highlighting that range is not as useful or important as being able to get clearer numbers and analysis of what we are likely to face," he said.
Premier Ford's handling of the coronavirus outbreak has been widely commended for it's statesmanship. On Sunday, Ford personally drove his pickup truck to a warehouse on Sunday afternoon in order to pick up 90,000 masks that a company had donated to the province.
