It has been confirmed that security personnel will be reinstalling heavy-duty fencing around Capitol hill before President Biden addresses the State of the Union to a joint session of Congress on March 1.

Sources say that this week, authorities will start implementing security measures, including the fence.

According to Fox News, US Capitol Police are anticipating that a Freedom Convoy protest could arrive in Washington, DC, for the March 1 speech.

Authorities are especially worried, as the Canadian freedom protests have inspired citizens in other nations to take similar action against their governments, peacefully protesting en masse against Covid-inspired restrictions and mandates in general.

The Capitol police released a statement to the media, saying that "The United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service have been closely working together to plan for the upcoming State of the Union."

"Law enforcement agencies across the National Capital Region are aware of plans for a series of truck convoys arriving in Washington, D.C., around the time of the State of the Union."

The statement acknowledged people's right to peaceful protest within the US, saying, "As with any demonstration, the USCP will facilitate lawful First Amendment activity."
